Employee Owned
In May of 2001, the 230 employees of Varney, Inc. became owners of the company. The company owners came to this solution as they began looking for ways to get their investment out of the company, while keeping it strong for the employees. Forming an ESOP was the clear answer.
Varney's employee owners have a personal stake in the company's success and growth. Presently 65% of the company is employee owned with plans to be 100% employee owned by 2009. The company continues to grow as does the Varney Team.
